What do ushers do to support worship?
Ushers do more than hand out bulletins and collect money. They
are greeters at the front doors of the church. They answer questions
from visitors, give directions to places within the church, and help
assure an orderly flow to the service.
It's an important function, but not an overly demanding one in
terms of commitment. Usually it involves just one service a month
and can be coordinated to suit your schedule. |
