Each week, one lesson from the Hebrew Scripture and one from the
Greek Scripture are read in church by members of the congregation.
In the summertime, we also read the Psalm, which otherwise is
chanted and led by a cantor.
Readers are usually scheduled once a month. We try to have our
readers reflect the diversity of our congregation. |
