Community Ministry, of which St Paul's Cathedral is a member sponsored a team for the annual Rebuilding Together Project. Including members of of First United Methodist, St John's Lutheran and St Ambrose Catholic Cathedral, we also worked with a group of homeless youth from Buchanan Residence in Des Moines (Iowa Youth and Homeless Shelters) painting an older home in the north Drake neighborhood. The day long adventure included some laughs, some mentoring, serious house painting and a picnic lunch provided by FUMC's Liz Youngberg." |
